I measured everything and it looks fine, the alignment of ailerons is ok... Haven't flown to much after i've installed the tab, due to temp semsor problems, I..'ll change 3 instruments to mgl digital instruments, so I'm waiting it to arrive from us to keep test flying it!

Do you have any pictures of the ailerons off the wing? Closeups of the aileron hinges?

Thanks,
Dave

Are you using the stock hinge to spar attachment? Are you able to see the front of rear spar and it's integrity with the wing?

It looks good, but...

The longer hinge adds a significant twisting force to the rear spar. From what Tom Edwards has told me about the conversions he's done I would keep a close eye on it. Part of the problem is that when some of the wings were built they didn't use large enough gusset blocks between the spars and the ribs to save weight. He has seen rear spars come loose.

The other condition the undersized gussets can cause is the wing nose ribs breaking loose from the main spar. You need to keep an eye out for span-wise cracks appearing in the skin ahead of the main spar.

If this wing was built with this aileron setup in mind you should have no issues.

Dave
