It looks great!

Any performance numbers yet?

What did the empty weight turn out to be?

It waits 435kg empty, still working in some engine issues, so I don't have speed numbers too much correct... will have it soon.

Wow! That's pretty light with a C/S prop. Do you have a starter and electrical system? Was that with the wheel pants and everything?

Interesting.

I have the smaller and lighter "Lamb" tires and smaller wheel pants. I also have the very light lithium iron battery. With that I have the B&C 8 amp alternator, the Sky Dynamics magnesium flywheel and the Skytec featherweight starter. I'm using a lightweight plastic industrial caster for the tailwheel which has been working great and is lighter. My wingtip sight is carbon and weighs a couple of ounces. I do have a comm and transponder along with LED wingtip lights/strobes that weigh just a few ounces. The Whirlwind AC blades I think are a little heavier, they're bigger. And my canopy is probably heavier, the steel side slides are not light... The finish on the airplane is light, just enough to cover. That's why I had to sand down and refinish the tail, the color coat was wearing through.

I wonder where the extra weight is in mine. My empty weight is 992 pounds, 450 kg. That's 15 kg, 33 pounds more than yours...

Hi Dave, Reading about all your mods and considering that your ailerons should weight less than mine, took my plane to the shop and weighted it again, but this time with 8 liters of oil in the crate, the weight was 202kg left wheel, 206 right and 38 at tail wheel. I searched about my ignitio and injection system and it's 16lb less then standard.
That's the only diference i can notice

Best Regards
