If I remember correctly 200 gsm was the minimum weight I found for structural fiberglass cloth. Which one are you using?

probably you already found and solved the last leak, if not check the tach fitting: mine is losing some oil but changing the gasket means opening the engine and it's not worthwhile doing it

It happened something similar to me: my pitts flies straight with the stick centered but if I release the stick it moves to the left slightly and the aircraft rolls to the left, with or without spades. Usually you try to have the airplane balanced, i.e. no roll, without spades but maybe it is better not to fly without spades with the laser since spades are balancing the ailerons weight. Other thing you can do is to check whether the spades are parallel so if there is a roll it is not because of th...

The cowlings/canopy/instrument panel I have are smaller, basically inside the fuselage longerons and I think I will keep them as they are now otherwise there are too many things to change
