Laser 200 differences
by
Flyboy0890 » 13 Apr 2021 02:45
Are there many differences structurally between Leo Loudenslager’s Laser and the York plans version ? Just curious from historical perspective if there’s any changes in the wing airfoils or fuselage truss type stuff. I know about the flutter problems the old Lasers had.

Thank you!

Hi Guys
I've recently finished the bulk of the composite work on my Laser rebuild. I've now got a full set of moulds that i've made that could easily produce more parts. If anyone is interested please get in touch.

Laser with legs
by
davevon » 04 Jun 2020 21:41
My Laser came with range extending drop tanks. I never needed them and they just sat in the rafters. Now with the airplane up for sale, they will probably come in handy.
It can be set up with one or both tanks. Both tanks I think give it more than 60 gallons of fuel total! That's 6 hours of...

Welcome to the Laser section of the monoplane forum!
I'm the current caretaker of a Laser 230 (Acro Spirit) built by Ray Parker and Charlie Larkey.
I spent a year going through the airplane when I got it making some upgrades and correcting some issues. I've been flying it since then, but have it...

I completed my RV4 30 years ago and have been in love with that little plane and admired all she could do. Then five years ago I bought a Pitts S1S which required quite a bit of work to make her mine and get her ready for contests. She also won my heart and while in the previous ten years she had...

Recently purchased a Laser with a AEIO-360. The aircraft is current seeing 210 in cruise and getting to 240s quickly in 15 mins of aerobatics. I am running Phillips 20W-50 and have tried Phillips 20W-60 with worse results.
It was suggested to me to run dual oil coolers. One in the front and the...

I'm rebuilding a crash damaged Laser 200 G-VILL, early stages, just trying to get a plan together.
Want to build as light as a can as i don't have the money for a big power engine.
Any way of posting pictures without having to host through another image site?
Thanks...

Glass Fiber Wing Top Layer

Hi Guys
I've got some repairs to do on my wing and have noticed that it has a glass layer on top of the ply... this isn't in the original plans but i'm guessing it does a pretty good job of stiffening the wing up!
I think this is also done on the one designs? Does anybody else have this on their...

Hello,
A biplane guy here just visiting and wishing this forum success. I almost couldn't past security. In order to get through the registration process I had to answer how many cylinders an IO-540 has. Thank God for Google! (Two too many, I say!)
