LYCOMING IO-540K-1A5D IN CRATE • $17,500 • FOR SALE • Lycoming IO-540-K1A5D ... 970/SMOH, recently reassembled due to a Prop Strike. I purchased this engine when it was disassembled for an inspection with plans to install it into an AcroDuster Bi-Plane and wanted a 300/HP engine up front, but to my surprise, the larger 'angle valve' engine would not fit under the cowl, nor would the intake or exhaust. The engine was completely rebuilt and runup by the engine builder, and I have all the paperwork for it. Crated and ready to ship.
