Hello -- another One Design owner checking in. I am new to aerobatics and the One D, but looking forward to learning more. I have entered one IAC contest and had great time. Hope to see some of you at future contests on the east coast.

I'm David Dean. I built a DR-107 One Design, and have about 34 hours on it.

I purchased the Project in Nov.,2012 from an airline pilot that had had it in storage for many years. It included many components purchased from Rourke Engineering and Doug Dodge, two suppliers of One Design components in the 90's. I installed a new Superior IO-320 w/dual P-mags, cold air sump, Silver Eagle forward induction, James Aircraft air filter, Raven exhaust and inverted system and a Skytec starter. It has a Dynon 180 with a MGL V6 comm and a Sandia transponder. The wheels and brakes, master cylinders and landing gear are from Grove. Wheel pants are from Vans and the tailwheel is a Aviation Products 4". I installed the latest EarthX battery for experimental aircraft. It has a Catto prop. The aircraft is a delight to fly, I've never flown anything that compares to it. It weighs 870 pounds w/oil and that is very light for a DR-107.
