Laser Composite Components
Laser Composite Components
Hi Guys
I've recently finished the bulk of the composite work on my Laser rebuild. I've now got a full set of moulds that i've made that could easily produce more parts. If anyone is interested please get in touch.

Re: Laser Composite Components
Can you post more pictures of the cowling?
Re: Laser Composite Components
Hi
The cowling is based on the 10-200 cowl that Devin sells but significant mods are needed to fit the Laser. I have the firewall profile in CAD and have tooling to make a carbon firewall flange like mine. Lower section has a return to create a venturi exit for the sky dynamics exhaust.
Tooling is good to make many parts. Cowling is pre preg with nomex core, very light and strong with good surface finish so minimal body work required before paint.

Re: Laser Composite Components
I’m interested in more information as well, but apparently I don’t yet have PM privileges because I’m new around here. Maybe you could shoot me a PM with more info. I just bought my laser in January and cowl, canopy and turtle deck are on the list for upgrades.
Thanks,
Scott
